President Granville 1910-1923
In 1910, Pennsylvania College inaugurated its sixth president and first lay leader, Yale University mathematics professor William A. Granville. Granville’s presidency was event-filled and constructive, notably in the establishment of a strong new curriculum, an engineering program, and success in securing a Phi Beta Kappa chapter.
