Love the pictures - it feels like yesterday that I was moving into Patrick
3rd floor - I wish it was! Good Luck, class of 2011; enjoy every second, it
goes by in a flash. Oh, and go abroad!!

As a parent and employee with nine
years helping on this day, I see Move-In Day demonstrate all that Gettysburg
College really stands for – caring and acceptance, alumni and friends giving
back, working hard together, having fun, meeting new people, growth and
learning, and most of all – beginning a new life experience of belonging to a
great College! Good luck to the Class of 2011 – great achievements are
expected.

Can we
get weather like this EVERY year for Move-In Day?! Gotta love low 60s, overcast

This was just what I was hoping to find! Thank you ... Now I can direct the
rest of our family to the school site to get a sense of what these last few days
have been like for my son. I especailly enjoyed the Convocation - full of
tradition and beauty! If only I'd had MY camera! If any other parents have
digital pictures of Convocation- especailly Penn Hall in all it's spendor, I'd
love to have you send some to me to share with grandparents.

I was so excited to see my stepdaughter in a photo
during field day festivities while perusing the college website. After the long
journey from New England to drop her off for her freshman year...seeing the
campus for the first time was very impressive. It was rather wonderful when 3
band members/students were there to help me move her in for band practice one
week early... it was very hot and she was on the 3rd floor so we were very
THANKFUL ! Gettysburg College seems to be a very special place ... I'm so
happy she has chosen to begin her new adult life of learning and adventure in
such an historically significant and picturesque setting! Thank you for posting
the photos!!!

Moving Day pictures reminded me of my moving day to G-burg in 1957 as a FRESHMAN. Things have changed for the better in my view.
