How to Access databases from off-campus

• Cambridge Journals
• CHANT - Comprehensive database of all ancient Chinese texts from 1500 BC to about 600 AD. Texts are in Chinese (users need to be able to read Chinese characters on their computer screens). User ID and password required. Note: Gettysburg College faculty and students should contact a reference librarian for user ID and password
• Choice Reviews - provides reviews of significant current books and electronic resources of interest to those in higher education. Reviews date from 1988-present.
• Clase and Periodica - provides citations to and some fulltext articles from Latin American journals in the social sciences, humanities, and science and technology.
• Classical Music Library - includes sound tracks of 35,000 recordings of classical music. 2,000 tracks are being added each month. Includes labels such as EMI and Hyperion.
• Classical Music Reference Library - provides reference materials, spanning the entire history of Western classical music, in a unified online database.
• Classical Scores Library - provides 1,746 scores and 90,610 pages of classical scores.
  
• Classification Web - web access to Library of Congress Classification and Library of Congress Subject Headings.
• CogNet - provides abstracts and fulltext articles from cognitive science journals and the fulltext of books from 1998-present.
• Collected Letters of Thomas Hardy - provides the fulltext of Hardy's letters from 1840-1927.
• College Source - provides complete, current cover-to-cover college catalogs for 2-year, 4-year, graduate and professional schools.
• Company Dossier - provides basic and in-depth business information on more than 35 million global companies
• Congressional Research Service Reports - provides fulltext Congressional Research Service environmental studies reports prepared for the U.S. Congress from 1991-present. Note: free access to this database is provided via Committee for the National Institute for the Environment.
• Consumer Health Complete - CHC is an interface designed for the everyday consumer of health care information. CHC provides convenient access to easily understandable health and medical information
• Contemporary Women's Issues - provides citations to women's studies articles, newsletters and research reports (with an international focus). Articles date from 1992-present.
• Contemporary World Music - will contain 50,000 tracks that deliver the sounds of all regions from every continent.
• CQ Congress Collection - provides information about legislation, interest groups and key votes since the 97th Congress.
• CQ Electronic Library - provides information about Congress, the Supreme Court, public affairs, current and controversial issues, and voting and elections.
• CQ Political Reference Suite - Includes Congress and the Nation, 1945 - 2004; Historic Documents, 1972 - present; Political Handbook of the World Supreme Court Yearbook, 1989 - present; Vital Statistics on American Politics; Washington Information Director.

• CQ Researcher - provides full-text articles from Congressional Quarterly Researcher from 1991-present.
