Logon to the Student Center (peoplesoft), go to the student center and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Intramural Participation Form. Once you fill this out, you are good to go for the entire year. Take care of it early and get ready to play!

Fall 2009 4v4 Volleyball Tournament Champions
The Slammers

Campus Recreation's annual 4v4 Intramural Volleyball Tournament has been a Gettysburg tradition for countless decades. A mix of new and old faces battled it out, with six teams bumping and setting their way through Hauser Field House in an attempt to claim the illustrious title of 4v4 Volleyball Champs.

In the first round of action, the Stealth Pigeons, led by infamous Quidditch Snitch Alex Massey, managed to dispatch the foursome in the Dirty Dozen.  Hubromance also triumphed over the Hooligans with help from fiery females Emily Aiello and Jess Ballister. In the second round, powerhouses ATO and the Slammers, who had earned byes, faced off in a battle of heavyweights.  The Slammers had claimed both the men's and coed championships in the 6v6 league the previous spring, and ATO, despite playing with only  a 3-man team, were still holding their own. But their lack of numbers would be their downfall in the end, as they were unable to hold off the Slammers' relentless attack led by senior James Klunk.

On the other court, two scrappy teams played a close three games, but ultimately the speed and determination of Stealth Pigeons was enough to lead them over Hubromance. The grueling match took a little too much out of them, however, and the Pigeons were unable to survive the textbook-tenacity of the Slammers.

Intramural dynasties are notoriously hard to maintain, but the Slammers may be well on their way to establishing one on the emerald intramural courts of Hauser Field House. Thanks to everyone who participated, and we hope to see you in the Spring for the 6v6 league.
