Answering a Call

Lift receiver or press hands free key or line number

Terminating a Call
Hang up receiver or press Goodbye key

Placing a Call
Lift receiver or press hands free key or line number
Enter 9 + (7 digit telephone number) (Local)
Enter 9 + 1 + Area Code + 7 digit telephone number (Receive 2^nd Dial Tone)
Plus Authorization Code if beyond local
9+0+Area Code + 7 digit telephone number (Credit Card Calls, Collect Calls)

Your main line number
Number beside the green key at top right of screen. Has picture of telephone by it when in use.

Other line appearances & rollover lines
Located on remaining 11 keys near main line (Use shift to access key 7-12)
Keys not needed for rollover or line appearances are used as Auto Dial keys.

Hold
Press HOLD key
To return to held call:
Press Flashing line number.

Transfer
Press Trans Key designated on screen
Enter extension number you are transferring to.
Press Trans key again
To regain a transferred call:
Press flashing line number

Forward - All Calls - 4 Digits Only

Pickup (picks up calls in your call group)
Lift receiver
Press More key at bottom of display
Press Pickup key designated on screen
(Incoming call is now connected)

Redial Last #
Press line number twice OR lift receiver and press line number once.
(Dials the last # you called) Must enter authorization code if long distance.

Ring Again (Call Back no Answer or Busy internal only)
(If called person doesn't answer or is busy, calls their Phone when it becomes available.)
On busy signal or no answer: before call is ready
Press More key under display
Press ring again key
Hang up (you will see an arrow by ring again key)
(A tone sounds and message appears on screen when called Party becomes available)
Press line or hands free key or lift receiver
Press Ring Again key
Called phone now rings

To Cancel:
Press Ring Again

Call Park
(Call will not ring back for 2 minutes)
To park call (on college wide hold)
Press More key at bottom of screen
Press CALLPRK key
*Be sure to note code displayed on screen.
To retrieve a parked call:
Lift receiver
Enter code on screen
(Parked call is connected to your phone)

Analog Sets: Press flashhook/tap button
Dial * 8 + DN Park number
To Retrieve: Dial park number from any phone
Remote Retrieval
Enter code on screen:

3 Way Conference Call (6 callers total)

1. Make first call
2. Press CONF key at bottom of display
3. Make next call
4. Press CONF key again

Auto Dial keys (one touch speed dials)
To set:
Press Auto Dial key
Enter phone number
Press Auto Dial key again.
To put name on Auto Dial key:
Press Options Key.
Using choose: Change Feature key label
Press Select Key
Press Auto Dial key you want to change
Enter name using number key with corresponding letter on it
Press same key until correct letter appears
Press Done key when finished to save changes

Personal Options
To change, press Options key at bottom of phone & follow instructions
(Press quit key to exit without saving changes)

Contrast Adjustment
Call Timer (allows you do display time elapsed for calls)
Date/Time Format
Language selection
Change Features key label
Call Log Options
Preferred name match (shortcut for finding directory items)

Personal Speed Call (100 maximum)

To View: To Delete an entry:
Press Directory/Log key Select call by using
Press DIR key at bottom of screen Instructions (To view)
Press key to scroll to desired call Press Delete
Press key to see phone number also
Press key to return to list of names To call a Directory entry:
Adding an entry to your Directory: Select call by using
Press Directory/Log key Instructions (To view)
Press DIR key at bottom of screen Press Dial Key
Press number key with first letter of name on it
Press the same key until correct letter appears
Press number key for next letter or press
Press Next key when name is finished
Enter Phone Number
Press Done key when finished to save

To Search:
Follow instructions to View, but do not select call
Enter first letter of name using corresponding number key
Press same key until correct letter appears
Finds entries with names beginning with this letter
To Edit: (ex: enter "9" and/or "1" before number)
Select call, using instructions above (To View)
Press Edit key
Make changes by: Entering numbers to add OR
Delete key deletes a digit OR
Clear key clears entire #
Press Done key when finished
Press Dial key to call or Quit key to exit

Call Log (list of calls made to your phone, 10 max.)

To View: To Delete a call from list:
Press Directory/log key Select call by using
Press Call Log key at bottom of screen Instructions (To View)
Press key to scroll to desired call Press Delete Key
Press key to see phone number also
Press key to return to list of names
To Edit: (ex: enter "9" and/or "1" before number) To call a number on list:

To copy a call to your personal directory:
Select call by using instructions to (To View)
Press Copy key
Press Dirctry Key
Press Edit key to change name
Change name by: entering letters OR
Delete key clears entire name
Case key changes to upper/lower case
Press NEXT key to save name changes
Change phone number using same keys above except Case key
Press Done key to save changes when finished.

Redial Log (outgoing calls from your phone, 20 max)

To View: To Copy a call to your personal
Press Directory/log key speed call directory
Press Redial key at bottom of screen Select call by using instructions
Press key to scroll to desired call (To View)
Press key to see phone number also Press Copy
Press key to return to list of phone numbers Press Directory key
Press Edit key to change name
To Edit: (ex: enter "9" and/or "1" before number) Change name by: entering letters or
Select call, using instructions above (To View) using keys
Press Edit key Press Next key to save name changes
Make changes by: Entering numbers to add OR Change phone number by entering
