Computing Services - Helpdesk
The Helpdesk is the hard-working front door to Gettysburg College's Information Technology. It is THE central location for solving computer problems for faculty, staff, and administrators. The Helpdesk is open from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday, and is located on the second floor of Eddie Plank Gym. You may call x7000 or e-mail ITHelpdesk@gettysburg.edu for assistance. G-Tech is the venue for students to have their issues resolved. They are located in the basement of Musselman Library in room 7. Students can call x6935 or e-mail gtech@gettysburg.edu for G-Tech assistance.
Callers to x7000 have several menu choices: Press 1 if you, faculty or staff have Audio/Visual or Enhanced Learning Space issues; Press 2 if you, student or staff, wish to report a password problem or if you are a faculty or staff member with a computer problem; Press 3 if you are a student with a computer problem; Press 4 if you are reporting a voicemail, telephone or cable television problem; Press 5 if you wish to hear the menu again.
