Other Services

The indoor swimming pool is located in the College Union Building (CUB) and is usually available from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm each day. Each conference must request pool hours: otherwise the pool will not be opened. If pool hours are requested other than those previously provided by the College, a minimum charge of $30.00/hour plus lifeguard wages will be assessed. Pool hours are subject to change due to lifeguard availability. 

The pool capacity is 75 individuals at one time. Individuals will be permitted on a first come first serve basis. Camps and conferences, of which the attendees are under 18 years of age, must provide at least two (2) chaperones: one (1) to monitor the locker rooms and one (1) to monitor the stands. Bathing suits are required for all bathers. Gym shorts will not be allowed. Failure to abide by Conference & Event Services and pool rules will result in the loss of pool privileges for individuals and possibly the conference as a whole.

Experiential Education

The Gettysburg College Office of Experiential Education offers Challenge Course workshops to both the campus community and to surrounding businesses and organizations. The program sponsors workshops that focus on group development, team building, leadership, train the trainer, and technical skills. Each workshop is designed to meet your group's individual goals and objectives, range from 2 hours to several days in length, and are able to accommodate from 12 to 120 participants. If you are interested in learning more about our workshops, please check the Office of Experiential Education website at http://www.gettysburg.edu/about/offices/college_life/grab.

Telecommunications

Telephone services are available for conferences. Any services your group may need have to be requested five (5) business days prior to your group's arrival.  Fees vary depending upon requirements and timeliness of the requests. Phone activation fees range from $30.00 to $70.00 per phone line. Voicemail, special features, long distance codes, and long telephone cords are available.
