Sales Tax

Gettysburg College is required to assess Pennsylvania State sales tax on all food service charges to any organization that is deemed unrelated to the College. If your conference is exempt, you must provide the College with a current tax exemption certificate thirty (30) days prior to the arrival of your conference group on the College campus; otherwise sales tax will not be waived. (Pennsylvania has reciprocal agreements with MD, NY, FL, and NJ only.)
