Theatre Arts Case Study

In April 2008 Web Communications led a collaborative effort with Communications & Public Relations to meet with any academic department that wanted to meet to review the department website. One of those meetings occured with Theatre Arts. After a review of the site the need of the department was to make the landing page more interesting and to do a better job highlighting some of the opportunities that students have in the theatre at Gettysburg. Changes
Using exisiting content provided by the department
- A banner was added to the department homepage
- Homepage text was shortened
- Used bold and bullets with homepage text
- Split "all about theatre arts" page into 2 pages named "student opportunities" and "faciliites"
