College Surveys

Assessment of student learning is among the primary functions of the Office of Institutional Analysis. Specifically, it fulfils the following major roles:  

• Administer national and regional benchmark learning assessment instruments, complete analyses, and write reports. (See Survey Calendar)
• Conduct local assessments, e. g., institutional surveys.
• Work with COLA and CLAG to implement the College assessment plan for learning outcomes.
• Assist departments with assessment of student learning and program evaluation. 
• serve as a central repository for assessment reports, studies, resources, and other related efforts.

The following links display reports based on Gettysburg results collected through surveys, many of which serve as indirect evidence of student learning outcome achievement. These surveys also yield useful information on student pre-college characteristics and learning processes/environments.
