Traditions
Each year the Gettysburg College community joins together to celebrate various traditional events. These events include the annual Crabfest in the Fall, a semi-formal dance entitled Snowball and a three day Spring Fest extravaganza held near the end of Spring Semester. While these events are sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, if not for the support of the entire campus including many of the Clubs and Organizations and various departments, many of these programs would not be as successful as they are.
Crabfest was a huge success in the Fall and is always a great way to kick off the Fall season. In February we celebrated An American in Paris at Snowball. This past April we decided to Go West for Spring Fest while listening to the sounds of Matt Nathanson and the Beat Box stylings of Rahzel.
