Utah Road Trip: May 18 - 30
Under the direction of Ruth de Jesus, Associate Dean of Intercultural Advancement, 5 IRC students will take a journey west. The participants include: Jhalil Cain, Lashanda Dailey, Johelys Figueroa, Annie Lee, Charmonique Parker, and Becky Brown (GRAB student leader).
Follow our progress through southern Utah's canyon country. Please note that given the remote location of our travels, daily web updates will occur when wireless service is available.

The Office of Intercultural Advancement serves multicultural and international students studying at Gettysburg College. The department is dedicated to raising awareness and celebrating cultural pluralism on campus. The professional staff provides academic and personal enrichment services for people of diverse cultural backgrounds. Students can expect to receive personal attention and academic advising that addresses individual needs, interests and questions.
Intercultural Resource Center
The Office is located at the Intercultural Resource Center(IRC), an open inclusive and affirming space with a variety of functions: computer lab, meeting space, lounge area and more. The IRC offers programming to enhance a student's academic, personal and social experience at the College.

The Office of Intercultural Advancement is dedicated to creating a diverse and culturally-enlightened community based on mutual respect and understanding. We believe that for students to grow cognitively and effectively, we must provide a diverse environment which fosters critical dialogue and reflection while valuing and appreciating differences.
