Career Interest Tools
The Center for Career Development uses several tools that can help you identify and understand your interests, skills, preferences, and values as they relate to your career planning. If you are interested in taking any of the assessments listed below please contact our office to set up an appointment with a career coach (ext. 6616).
- FOCUS is an online assessment that can help you determine your skills, interests and a number of occupational areas. To use FOCUS you will first need to create an account. View an Instruction Sheet:
- Click to create a new account, supply access code: gettysburg21 and the other requested information.
- Click to access FOCUS if you already have an account.
- The Strong Interest Inventory helps you recognize your interests and skills and how they relate to specific occupational paths.
- The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality preference assessment. Results can help you become aware of your communication, decision-making, and personal work styles.
